Sarbi was an Australian Army Explosive Detection Dog who was separated from her handler during a firefight in Afghanistan in 2008. Missing for 13 months, she was eventually found safe by an American soldier and returned to Australian forces. Back in Australia, Sarbi was awarded several honours, including the RSPCA Purple Cross for bravery.
